Until you move into your new home, you may require your belongings to be stored.
Storage can be arranged locally or at your country of destination, through one of our agents.
In South Africa, we have the most advanced storage system in the world, using dust-free palletized wooden containers, in high security custom-built warehouses.
Storage Insurance
Consignments requiring storage during the move, will automatically receive extended cover from Pickfords. The additional premium will be shown on your monthly storage account. It's worth noting however, that in the case of longer storage periods - say a year - your initial storage cover should take into account the anticipated rate of inflation. This avoids the risk of being under-insured at the end of the period, together with subsequent shortfall of any claims, should they arise.
