On behalf of Airports Company South Africa Ltd (ACSA) and it's ORAT Consultants from Flughafen Munchin(FMG), it is hereby confirmed that Pickfords Removals undertook its logistical and transportation duties in a professional manner, thus resulting in a damage free aiport relocation from the old Durban International Airport to the new King Shaka International Airport,situated, some 57 kilometres away.

Thank you for an incredibly efficient “move” over the last couple of days. We definitely picked a winning team to move us to our new home at King Shaka International Airport and your efficient assistance took the stress out of the most daunting task we have ever faced. We would not have coped without you, and the team on site were patient, helpful and most of all smiling throughout what can only be described as the one task nobody volunteers for.
With your help we have “arrived” and hopefully will be fully operational by Monday afternoon. A “P”erfectly, “P”acked, “P”erformance with “P”ickfords!

As project managers of the King Shaka Airport Transfer Project, we confirm that we selected Pickford to relocate the overall majority of the furniture, fixtures, documentation and equipment from the old Durban International Airport to the new King Shaka International Airport, approximately 57km in distance.
Pickfords was responsible for the relocation of 14 ACSA Departments and the majority of the airport stakeholder companies, with an overall estimated total volume of over 100 thousand cubic feet of inventory. This was carried out over a 1 month period preceding the opening of the airport on the 1st May 2010. The Airports Company of South Africa imposed an extremely high risk profile on the project from a time, cost, potential damage to equipment and ultimately a reputation perspective.
Pickfords carried out their duties in a highly professional, organised and efficient manner; meeting every deliverable on time, on budget and damage free. Focus Project Management can confirm the project was an overall success and is proud to have partnered with Pickfords in such a momentous project.

From the time we have requested a quotation, up to where you have arranged for the unpacked boxes to be collected, Pickfords delivered an excellent service. Ms Hendriks, you and all the other role players involved ensured that we had total peace of mind during our move.
I would like to confirm herewith that we experienced no damages to our possessions during the move and therefore no insurance claim will have to be processed.

Graag wil ek Pickfords bedank vir die uitstekende diens wat julle aan my gelewer het oor die periode 28-31 Julie. My huisraad is veilig hier besorg op ‘n baie professionele wyse. Ek is nie bewus van ‘n enkele item wat beskadig is of verlore geraak het nie. As ek een van die span kan uitlig om spesiaal te loof dan is dit Eliah wat op ‘n kalm en vriendelike wyse die Pickfords span en ons gesin deur die proses gevat het. Ook jy was altyd hulpvaardig en vinnig om te reageer op vrae. Ek het reeds my werkgewer, wat vir die trek betaal het, hieroor ingelig.
